An (ITSO) Technical Analyst with working knowledge of the ITSO Specification is required.
ITSO is the national Specification, or Standard, for smart ticketing. The Specification was developed with the aim of ensuring that public transport operators throughout Great Britain can develop compatible smart ticketing systems.
Transport operators and suppliers of smart hardware and software use the ITSO Specification to ensure that their systems can talk the same electronic language. In theory this means that a passenger can use just one smartcard no matter which operator is providing a service or what mode of transport they are using, rather than having to buy lots of different tickets or carry separate smartcards.
As the Technical Analyst you will be providing support for the review, maintenance and development of the agreed specification to encompass security design and enterprise architecture. You will also be providing technical support, becoming a technical liaison point for internal and external contacts.
You will be required to support the Technical Manager, the CEO and the Management Team to define the technical strategy and related technology road map to deliver the next generation specification and related security systems.
Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant technical position and be well developed with communicating to the wider business. You will be able to use your integrity and professionalism at all times.
You will have experience of managing complex relationship complex relationships with completing demands and requirements placed on the business both internally and externally.
