Welcome to episode 21 of The People First podcast. We’re joined all the way from Cape Town by Malcolm Gray, Co-founder of Libryo. We spoke about how Libryo was born, overcoming resistance to sustainability, and why he was an advocate of remote working before it was cool.

The People First Podcast puts tech companies that recognise the value of great people in the spotlight. Libryo is a regulatory compliance SaaS company that acts as the engine behind the Standards & Legal Platform. With over 2,500 users across 160 plants and sites, it actively helps drive sustainability measures.

Malcolm explains how he ignored advice not to be remote-first, which turned out to be a fantastic decision in light of the pandemic. However, his reasoning behind operating under a remote-hybrid model was due to the international nature and global reach of the service.

Listen in to this episode of The People First podcast to hear Malcolm’s wise words and observations about sustainability, remote working, and leadership.
