Service Desk Analyst
Location - Abingdon
Salary - up to £24k (DOE) plus a comprehensive benefits package and company pension scheme.
My client is a large Oxford based digital publication company whose IT department plays a crucial part in their business! Due to growth we are now looking for a customer focused 1st Line Service Desk Analyst who wants to continue providing the very best IT technical support for the Business.
Ultimately you will be the first point of contact for any technical queries in accordance to the defined service deliverables, liaising with staff and central support teams to ensure the timely resolution any incidents requests.
You will provide technical advice and expertise in relation to desktop hardware and software, providing quick break fix solutions to customer queries and escalating those to the appropriate expert team within a defined time period ensuring information gathering is complete
Resolve incidents and action requests as required by performing an accurate diagnosis and implementing an appropriate solution. Monitor and escalate incidents and requests against defined service levels, some Active Directory administration.
As 1st Line Service Desk Analyst you will be required to install new software releases, system upgrades, patches and resolves hardware and software related problems in a Windows or Macintosh environment.
Ideally you will have strong technical IT ability ideally gained from a similar service desk role with excellent customer service skills. You will be solution focused and have the ability to deal with high volume and prioritise accordingly.
