ICT Service Delivery Manager

Salary – up to 56k

Location: Gloucestershire

This public sector organisation based in Gloucestershire and a short drive from the M5 are recruiting an ICT Service Delivery Manager to join the Senior Management Team to support existing critical services and to assist in the delivery of key projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be responsible for managing a large Service Management team responsible for the management of an extensive portfolio of ICT services across the entire breadth of business functions.

Reporting directly to the Head of ICT, the successful candidate will be involved in both strategic and operational planning, working as part of the team providing ICT Services to approximately 2000 end users. They will be required to represent corporate ICT service provision at board level and work with the policing community to identify areas for service improvement.

The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent customer focus and extensive experience in Service Management as well as being able to evidence strong leadership skills. They will be expected to be able to support team members in both day to day activities and identifying development opportunities for progression.

The role also requires extensive experience and knowledge of the ITIL v3 Service Lifecycle Management coupled with Prince 2 project management methodologies in order to understand and successfully champion change within the organisation and ICT.

Candidates must be willing to undergo the relevant security vetting for this role.
