This public sector organisation based in Gloucestershire and a short drive from the M5 are recruiting an ICT Service Desk Team Lead, to join a busy service desk to support existing critical services and to assist in the delivery of key projects.
Reporting to the services manager you will lead a team of 7 technicians in their day to day role encouraging their personal development, promoting excellent customer service and building a team ethos. You will assists users in making more effective use of desk-top systems, products and services, investigating complex problem situations to diagnose underlying causes and helping users to recover or continue operation.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, experienced at managing major incidents, escalations, enquiry and service request queues within agreed response and resolution timescales.
You will be required to undergo security clearance for this role, please familiarise yourself with the process before applying.
