Identifi’s digital practice is pleased to be partnering this leading Staffordshire based digital agency who are scaling their business rapidly, you will join the digital team who are working with the UK’s largest hospitality and leisure companies.
You will be an active member and leader of a product development team. The team you lead will by cross functional potentially comprising of developers, test engineers and business analysts. You will be expected to be a hands-on developer in this role.
Typical Project Delivery will include:
- Creating and maintain project delivery plans based on the defined priorities and agreed ways of working
- Manage the assignment of work to all team members
- Provide accurate and timely project status reporting as required
- Participate in the technical design and direction of the project in conjunction with the technical lead
- Implement, test and debug code to satisfy approved specifications and designs using approved development tools and frameworks.
Staff Management - You will lead and manage a cross functional team potentially consisting of software developers, test engineers and business analysts. Line management responsibilities will include recruitment, appraisals, 121 meetings, identifying training needs, motivating and performance managing the team
Essential, we are seeking candidates with 3+ years’ experience of managing teams of a minimum of 3 people. You will have excellent knowledge of modern software engineering practices – OOD, Design patterns, Agile methods, Scrum and Extreme programming as well as 5+ years’ experience of designing and delivering business critical, enterprise-class, SaaS applications and 3+ years’ experience of using PHP with Laravel or an equivalent framework
You will have strong MySQL and experience of developing in ColdFusion or managing ColdFusion developers.
