Business Analyst is required to join this fast growing consultancy firm who specialise in independent programme assurance, business design and information system development which spans the full development lifecycle.
The business has vast experience of delivering programmes in some of the most demanding environments in the UK, across both the public and private sectors. They are unique in that the team offers expertise through the full programme lifecycle from business cases development, to business and system design through to development and implementation and you will be working with a team who have a background in the operational environments they deliver in.
As a permanent member of the consulting team, you will likely be working with their core clients within the UK Government and UK Police Forces and wider associated Emergency Services organisations and leadership groups, and some who offer unique counter terrorism services.
As a Business Analyst, you will have two key focuses. The first is working directly with clients to support the delivery of:
- Business Operating Models and Architecture;
- Definition of business and system level requirements;
- Development of policy, procedure and standards which govern the way in which our clients business will operate;
- Scoping of required business change and transition roadmaps from As Is operation to the required To Be state.
The second will be to support the development of internal operating procedures and products which enable the business to evolve with their client needs. You will be required to travel to client sites as required but will be based at offices in central MK. Ideally, you will have around 5 years’ experience working in a Business Analysis role.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with clients from user to board level along with experience in designing, organising and chairing client focused workshops within the process of developing comprehensive business operating models.
Previous experience in supporting the development of business cases in respect of scope and requirements definition and any knowledge or experience of working within Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman or similar would be a distinct advantage. (But not essential)
You will be familiar with developing UML models to a system definition level and will have developed formal business and system level requirements documentation and the subsequent management of these.
Desirable experience includes any design and delivery of information systems. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince 2 would be very useful.
We have a starting salary £40/45k per annum and a performance related bonuses made up of remuneration and/or share allocation.
