Job Description

The Windows Application Deployment Analyst will be responsible for the deployment and support of applications across all necessary environments to meet  business change projects.


The function will support the end to end development and deployment process working with other business areas and providing project support out of business hours when required.

  • Review and maintain project documentation
  • Manage time and priorities of allocated projects utilizing resource demand planning tools
  • Plan and manage the release of scheduled application Fix releases through the lifecycle
  • Lead improvement activities or initiatives with focus on service quality and cost reduction
  • Identify and deliver upon opportunities that improve service quality and enhance performance and efficiency in own department and across the business

  • Excellent working knowledge in the release deployment and build processes.
  • Excellent working knowledge of  IT Service Management processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Clearing process
  • ITIL V3 foundation minimum (also useful to have Release Control and Validation and Capability Certificate in Operational Support and Analysis)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server; including Administering Microsoft SQL Server Databases
  • Good working knowledge in the use of BMC Remedy and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent knowledge of end to end Software Lifecycle.
