Voice and Data Supplier manager is being sought for an immediate start in Bedford for this UK brand leader who are recognised for their innovation, investment in their people and excellent customer service.
You will be joining a large IT department and reporting into the Communications and Networks manager to deliver the Voice and Data telecoms services supporting customers across UK. You will manage the key suppliers against Service Level Agreements and ensure corrective actions are in place for any failures.
The Key accountabilities and responsibilities for this role will see you managing suppliers responsible for the support and provision of;
Voice services, delivered over fixed, mobile and virtual circuits supporting voice services, including migration to
SIP: VOIP, IP telephony, ACD (automated call distribution), CTI,
Data services, LAN\WAN fixed and wireless, Mobile data networks including 3G & 4G.
You will ensure that the impact of all project and change activity is defined sufficiently by all parties and can be accepted and supported in production and ensure that governance is in place and adhered to protecting Voice and Data communications services, including Project, Development, Change, Release etc.
Essentially, you will ensure that suppliers provide sufficient service measures, including adequate monitoring and alerts which are meaningful, with clear and tested support instructions supporting them.
Additionally, you will monitor and track expenditure to ensure that services are delivered within accepted budgetary limits, flagging where this is not the case, identifying options to control costs.
We would expect you to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position managing communications services suppliers and a knowledge or experience of managing voice and data networks.
