Service Assurance Manager (Latest Technology, Good Pay, Opportunities to Progress)

Service Assurance Manager required by one of the UK's largest provider of outsourced payment-processing services to banks, based in Northampton. They offer their staff, excellent personal development, competitive pay and investment in the latest technology.  

The Company

A market leader in processing domestic cheques across the UK, handling over 500 million cheques every year. They specialise in banking and financial services operations covering services like, fraud management, ISA & Mortgage processing, Scanning facilities and reconcilements. They are on track to  become market leader in providing a paperless society through the provision of an Image based processing and exchange structure.

The Position

Here you will work within a team of four incident and major incident managers. You will Co-ordinate service repair and recovery activity across internal and external supplier teams. Take responsibility for understanding the business impact of live incidents and ensuring that actions to mitigate those impacts are undertaken. You will also co-ordinate service repair and post incident reporting. New digital services are currently coming on line which will be subject to the above but have a different service profile.

To be successful in this role you bring your experience or involvement in incident management. Driving performance and executing at speed. You will need rounded knowledge of service incident, problem, change and release management processes and a minimum Certification in ITIL V3 Foundation Certification in IT Service Management. This role is paying 35-40k + Shift Allowance + Benefits

The Location:

The role will be based in Northampton with occasional travel to other sites. The working hours will be a total of 35 hours per week, including 24 x 7 rotational on call cover. There is plenty of free onsite parking with a generous subsidised canteen serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. (The bacon roles are pretty good)
