Do you want to work in a global high-tech company that's one of the key players in the Aerospace, Defence and Security sector? Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Support Engineer based in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate’s primary objective is to Service and repair LRI aircraft components to customers within defence organisations. The successful candidate must have a strong all-round technical ability with a working knowledge of Aircraft Radar, DASS and Avionics equipment and systems.

Your Key Responsibility are to:-

 

  • Carry out Standard Serviceability Testing, Fault finding and repair on RADAR, DASS and Avionics equipment.
  • Carry out routine calibration, general maintenance on Automatic Test equipment.
  • Daily liaison with the ARC Manager, Bay lead and Maintenance.
  • Systems teams as required understanding priorities for repair activities.
  • Provide support to the management of the UK aspect of the Spares supply system and consumables, immediately highlighting any deficiencies to ARC Manager, Bay lead and Maintenance Planner.
  • Meet all the contractual and local requirements associated with Governance, SHE, Training and general good engineering practices
  • Identification and reporting of risks and opportunities for business its operations and support to subsequent activities.
  • Provide support to the generation and compliance of MAOS Approved documentation.

The Skills and experience in the following areas is advantageous:

 

  • Experience with Technical Diagnostic Test Equipment including MS Software Packages.
  • Previous experience of working within Avionics second line Maintenance Facility Environment.
  • Previous experience of working on Typhoon aircraft RADAR and DASS systems.
  • HNC is an electrical, digital electronics , Avionics discipline or equivalent/ relevant experience
