Senior Business Analyst / Architect
Please Note: You must be able to be Security Cleared or have or had SC clearance previously.
Salary – 55/60k DOE
Location: Mainly central London based clients - Typical clients will be Central Gov, Law Enforcement, Counter terrorism, UK Police - occasionally working with friendly overseas governments.
Senior Business Analyst / Architect is required to join this fast growing, successful, highly regarded consulting firm who specialise in independent large programme assurance, business design and information system development which spans the full development lifecycle - typically pan government UK programmes.
You will hold key relationships with senior stakeholders who are driving significant change and transformation programmes across the UK landscape.
Your time will be spent mainly in central London with some home work when not required on the client site.
The business has vast experience of delivering programmes in some of the most demanding environments in the UK, across both the public and private sectors. They are unique in that the team offers expertise through the full programme lifecycle from business cases development, to business and system design through to development and implementation and you will be working with a team who have a background in the operational environments they deliver in.
As a permanent member of the consulting team, you will likely be working with their core clients within the UK Government and UK Police Forces and wider associated Emergency Services organisations and leadership groups, and some who offer unique counter terrorism services.
As a Senior Business Analyst / Architect you will have key focus on providing core business analysis techniques. The first is working directly with clients to support the delivery of business process mapping, to include mapping of a current (as is) process, and a Target (to be) model. In addition, you will have used structured modelling techniques to capture the business model and user requirements and business architecture design.
You will be able to provide an example of a role where you have personally conducted analysis on business processes and systems in order to identify areas for improvement and experience of business and user requirements gathering and development, including the process you followed in order to identify the requirements and produce requirement documentation.
You will be required to travel to client sites (mainly London), we're happy for you to work from home when not based on the client site. Ideally, you will have at least 5 years’ experience working in a Business Analysis role and you will either be moving towards Business Architecture or will be performing that role now.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with clients from user to board level along with experience in designing, organising and chairing client focused workshops within the process of developing comprehensive business operating models.
Desirable experience includes any design and delivery of information systems. Knowledge of project methodologies such as Prince 2, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall would be very useful.
We have a starting salary £55/60k per annum and a performance related bonuses made up of remuneration and/or share allocation.
