Sales and Customer Development

£20,000 + commission (up to 20%)


Job Brief

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our client based in Bristol. They are an innovative video production company and they need you to help them reach out to businesses who wish to commission video content for TV or online.


You will need to be entrepreneurial in spirit, a team player and be up for the challenge of building and converting our sales pipeline.



  • To work strategically in identifying potential clients to secure new business contracts
  • To use the phone, email, social media and lead sourcing methods to find new leads.
  • To represent the client at industry and networking events
  • To hit monthly targets for leads and conversions
  • To understand the diversity of what they do and keep up to date with the latest video trends
  • To up-sell their services at every opportunity
  • To work alongside marketing to develop new approaches for attracting new clients and to improve client conversion
  • To invite clients to our events and follow up to ensure that events are well attended. 
  • To maintain positive client relationships through regular phone and email communication



  • You’ll have an outgoing yet professional personality
  • You'll run to a tight schedule and be proactive when it comes to finding new leads.
  • Your collaborative working style means you'll fit in with the creative production team.



  • Excellent communicator with a track record in sales (ideally B2B)
  • You'll need to be proficient in Word, Excel and CRM software
  • Great written English with experience of writing proposals and attending client briefings
  • You will have a passion for learning and want to develop and grow within the role
