An exciting opportunity for an established Product Manager has been created with a respected, stock listed global brand. As Product Manager you will be the ‘face’ and advocate for both new and existing Products and Services, developing and managing all queries from sales, marketing and customer both on a local and global scale.
As Product Manager you will drive the new and growing product team, as well as providing input and support to senior management with product management, product strategy, development and product evolution with multiple customer applications. Provide the focus to enhance and maximise value associated with each of these product applications by defining the ‘Product Roadmap’. Have the ability to create and manage close collaboration with every key stakeholder, identify and prioritise product features, functionality and product enhancements, whilst demonstrating significant benefits to both the business and customers.
Role & Responsibilities:
As Product Manager you will collate market and customer insights, develop the understanding of each assigned product and market sectors, whilst building a solid network of contacts. Provide product market research, develop and test each product proposition and ensure market need, as well as working closely with existing and new technology partners to support product development within digital product and service pipelines. You will track and anticipate competitor activity, create strong relationships with all product stakeholders, i.e. editorial, production, technology, marketing, sales, support and finance, gather customer insight and feedback ensuring the smooth running of each project. You will identify and drive commercially viable opportunities, develop these with a clear vision for each product and directly communicate this to both internal and external stakeholders, presenting a robust and credible business case for each product approval, ensuring Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) are tested and P&Ls are validated.
- Experienced Product Management skills, been accountable for commercially successful products or effective revitalisation of an existing product
- Demonstrate a history of seeing market trends and changes
- Commercially focused with a proven ability to plan, manage and budget
- System focused and show a background in managing opportunities and challenges through technical, analytical and user-centric solutions
