Our client are looking for an experienced Industrial Cyber Security Officer to work part-time (1-3 days per week) at their customer site in South West England (West Country) on an initial 6 month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to help drive forward an important security project for the customer. You will act as the ICS SME with the remit to assess the technical designs of complex, integrated security solutions, with the objective of ensuring that security systems have the prerequisite security controls to ensure the clients risk appetites around Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Computer Based Systems Important to Safety (CBSIS).
This role supports the Architect Engineer C&I lead in providing the deep level technical understanding of the cyber security of the CBSIS. This role will likely be more than one person through the project to assess different design aspects (Network, software, cryptography, information management, support services etc…).
A sound understanding of the cyber threat landscape, together with an in depth understanding of plant control systems and methodologies required to secure mission critical integrated systems through design, commissioning and acceptance in to service.
Demonstrable experience in a role within a complex regulated environment (nuclear not essential but one or more of either Tier 1 COMAH sites, rail protection and control systems, cyber security of advanced car control systems, cyber security of aircraft control systems).
