eCommerce Digital Graphics Designer

Based in Milton Keynes, think cool, buzzing, creative, busy, innovative, fun, design studio, ecommerce, sporty, lifestyle – plenty of scope for learning and development.

These guys have come a long way since 1977, from modest beginnings as a small suburban sports and lifestyle business in North West London, to what they now proudly boast as being the UK’s leading distributor of parts and accessories, as well as the UK’s fastest growing freesports equipment supplier – think cycling, mountain bikes, motor X, Surfing, beach sports, skate boarding……    

They have circa 250 staff in the UK office and own several very recognisable sports / lifestyle’s brands – the bulk of their business is done online (70%) and they have a vast distribution network (B2B) as well as a direct customer based (B2C).

Currently the company have around 20 different web sites and a vast social media presence.

The Role;

Graphic Design / Adobe CC / Content Management / Onsite Merchandising / Social Media Content / Product Embellishment / CMS / Banner Creation / Magento / eMail Marketing

You will be working as part of the in-house digital team, providing graphic content and merchandising support for the company’s eCommerce platforms (B2B/B2C). This varied role will support the day to day website operations and will include; managing art work for product listings, banners, on-site merchandising, promotions (including email) and supplying assets to third party digital marketing partners.

In short, we require a creative team player that has the ability to deliver creative graphic design content across various brands and product categories associated with the business.

Essential Skills

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is essential plus working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and basic HTML are also key components needed to be successful.

  • Upwards of 12 months commercial experience in eCommerce (preferable)
  • The ability to think creatively and communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Passionate, innovative, driven and capable self-starter
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Creative, innovative and energetic team worker
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Naturally collaborative and communicate ideas effectively
  • Impeccable organisation and file management skills

A working knowledge of CMS eCommerce platforms such as Magento would be preferable.
