Business Analyst – Central Government – London – SC Cleared


We are looking for an experienced security cleared Business Analyst to work with our consultancy client. The business has vast experience of delivering programmes in some of the most demanding environments in the UK, across both the public and private sectors. They offer expertise through the full programme life-cycle from business cases development, to business and system design through to development and implementation and you will be working with a team who have a background in the operational environments they deliver in.


As an Associate member of the consulting team, you will be working with a central government client delivering on a high level pan-government programme of work. As a Business Analyst, you will have a key focus on providing core business analysis techniques. The first is working directly with clients to support the delivery of business process mapping, to include mapping of a current (as is) process, and a Target (to be) model.  In addition, you will have used structured modelling techniques to capture the business model and user requirements.


You must have proven experience of personally conducting analysis on business processes and systems in order to identify areas for improvement and experience of business and user requirements gathering and development, the client will be interested in understanding the process you followed in order to identify the requirements and produce requirement documentation.


This role will be predominantly based in London but some additional travel may be required.


You must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with clients from user to board level along with experience in designing, organising and chairing client focused workshops within the process of developing comprehensive business operating models.


Desirable experience includes any design and delivery of information systems. Knowledge of project methodologies such as Prince 2, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall would be very useful.


We have initial 6 month contracts available with strong likelihood of additional assignment extensions.
